This bathroom remodel in Calabasas, CA was a renovation focused on refreshing the space while keeping the existing cabinets. The homeowners wanted to improve the style and functionality of the bathroom without a full replacement. The goal was to create a cleaner, more modern look by upgrading the finishes, lighting, countertop, and shower area while keeping some of the original elements.
We were hired to give the bathroom a complete visual update with carefully selected improvements. Instead of replacing the cabinets, we restored the existing ones by installing new pulls and adding new mirrors and vanity lights to improve the overall appearance. We also installed a new quartz countertop with updated sinks, new tile flooring with matching tile baseboards, and Schluter finishes for a clean and modern detail.
The Challenger
The Challenge The biggest challenge was creating a fresh new design while working with the existing bathroom layout and cabinets. We needed to update multiple areas at the same time, including the shower, flooring, vanity area, lighting, and wall finishes, while making sure all the new materials matched together. The shower was redesigned with 12×24 gray-tone tiles, a built-in bench, a new glass door, and updated accessories to complete the new look.
The Result
The Results The finished bathroom became a modern and refreshed space with a better flow and updated style. The combination of the new quartz countertop, sinks, tile, improved lighting, updated shower features, and fresh paint throughout the bathroom completely changed the atmosphere. We also matched the existing orange texture on the walls and painted the ceiling, creating a clean and finished renovation that improved both the comfort and value of the home.
