Kitchen Remodel – Port Washington, WI
This full kitchen remodel in Port Washington, WI was designed to completely transform an enclosed, outdated layout into an open and functional modern living space with a direct connection to the home’s lake view.
The original kitchen was reimagined through a collaborative design process focused on improving layout efficiency, enhancing natural light, and maximizing property value. The space was fully opened up, creating a seamless transition between cooking, dining, and living areas, with the island positioned to take full advantage of the lake view.
New custom cabinetry finished in black anchors the design, paired with black quartz countertops for a bold and contemporary look. Side cabinets with wood tones were introduced to add warmth and balance, creating a refined contrast within the modern palette. Updated appliances—including refrigerator, range, and dishwasher—were integrated into the design, along with relocated plumbing and upgraded fixtures to support the new layout.
Lighting was completely redesigned to enhance both functionality and ambiance, while a new faucet and hardware selection in black and gold accents added a subtle premium detail throughout the space. The island was designed not only as a focal point but also as a functional hub, incorporating seating and hidden storage solutions to improve everyday usability.
The final result is a modern, open-concept kitchen that blends functionality, warmth, and visual impact—significantly increasing the home’s value while delivering a clean, sophisticated space centered around the lake view.
